By direction of The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD), Newnan Utilities, your sewer service provider, is required to have a grease management program. The goal of the program is to reduce the amount of grease entering the sewer system by collecting the grease at the source through traps, and disposing of it properly.
When you properly maintain your grease trap, you play an important role in protecting the sewer system, public health, and the environment.
Newnan Utilities contracts with Burnum Grease Elimination Services to perform the grease trap pumping at properties required to be in our grease management program. All charges related to your grease trap(s) will appear on your monthly Newnan Utilities statement.
