Toilet Rebate Program
Apply for a Toilet Rebate
Get money back for installing a water-efficient toilet.
Toilets are the biggest water users in most homes, making up as much as 35% of indoor water use. To help customers save, Newnan Utilities offers a rebate for replacing old toilets with water-efficient models.
Customers can get a rebate on their utility bill for each toilet they replace that meets these requirements:
- The new toilet must be installed in a home built in 1993 or earlier, replacing an older toilet that used 3.5 gallons per flush or more.
- Rebates are limited to three toilets per property (including previous owners).
- The new toilet must be an Ultra High-Efficiency Toilet (UHET) that uses 1.1 gallons per flush or less and has the WaterSense label.
- The rebate applicant must be the homeowner, a current Newnan Utilities customer, and up to date on their utility bill.
- Apply with a completed application and receipt. Forms are available [here] or at the Newnan Utilities Customer Service office (70 Sewell Road). Submit your application in person at the same location.
- Customers are responsible for installing the toilet(s). Newnan Utilities does not provide installation.
- By applying, you agree to allow Newnan Utilities staff to confirm the installation if needed.
