NU sponsored the Chamber Civics Bee, supporting students as they put their knowledge of government to the test.

We joined Coweta Works to help students explore careers and connect classroom learning to real-life roles.

To celebrate 40 years of Chamber impact, NU joined the golf tournament with a “Back to the Future” theme.

Our water crew connected with families at the Coweta County Library’s Trunk or Treat event.

NU employees and their families ran in the Run for Angels to support the mission of The Angel’s House.

Electric crew members visited a local school for Career Day to share what it takes to power our community.

We hosted students at our compost facility to demonstrate how we convert organic waste into a useful resource.

Behind the scenes, our crew supported a local nonprofit event to ensure it ran safely and smoothly.

Our team proudly volunteered at the Special Olympics to support the athletes and their incredible efforts.

Water and electric teams joined Safety City Camp to teach kids about staying safe around utilities.

Middle schoolers toured our water plant to explore careers that keep our community running.

We joined the Ready, Set, LINC event to show families how we deliver clean, reliable water every day.

Investing in the Future: Coweta Works Career Expo

Every year, Newnan Utilities proudly participates in Coweta Works, a hands-on career expo designed to help Coweta County students explore real-world career paths.

Hosted by the Coweta County Development Authority and the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce, the event introduces middle and high school students to a variety of industries through interactive exhibits and engaging conversations with local professionals.

Our team looks forward to the opportunity to educate, encourage, and empower the next generation of workforce-ready graduates. From demonstrating how our utility systems work, to answering students’ questions, Coweta Works gives us a chance to inspire future careers in the utility and energy industries.
