From Scraps To Soil

In 2007, Newnan Utilities started a composting program to put bio-solids to better use. Instead of sending them to landfills, the material is treated and turned into a safe soil additive that can be used in landscaping. Our composting site provides a reliable, long-term way to reduce waste and support responsible environmental practices in our community.
