At Newnan Utilities, we’re proud to provide our community with safe, reliable water every day.

Our water comes from three beautiful local creeks — White Oak Creek, Line Creek, and Sandy Brown Creek. It’s pumped into reservoirs with a capacity of 1.8 billion gallons, ensuring a dependable supply for our community.

From there, the water is treated at the Hershall Norred Water Treatment Plant, which can process up to 14 million gallons each day. This allows Newnan Utilities to deliver over one billion gallons of clean, fresh water each year — supporting the health and growth of Newnan.
